First of all, Jamba Juice sells fresh juice. They made a juice with fresh and natural fruits, and they do not use artificial flavors or preservatives. The natural fruits juice can help student to become healthier. Moreover, Jamba Juice has many varieties of juices, so you can choose according to your taste. Touching the Void

There are a lot of people that like to enjoy challenges. This movie called "Touching the Void" is about a very adventurous and cliffhanger story that is based on a true life story. Simon was a true friend to Joe according to this movie for three reasons.
First of all, while they were descending the mountain, Joe broke his leg, and one of the scenes showed us that Simon cut the rope. I think that it was not a wrost obtion because it was the best thing to do in Simon's positions. If he had not cut the rope, maybe Joe and Simon both would have died, and the important point are that Simon did not cut the rope inmediately. Also, we need to try to understand how hard it was for Simon to make that decision. In addition, Simon worried a lot for Joe, Joe's family and friends. When Simon stayed in the tent with Peter, he felt very bad because he must have been accusing himself by cutting the rope. Joe had really hard times to survive, but Simon had a terrible time too when he though about Joe. Last of all, when Joe called out for Simon in the last scene, he woke up and tried hard to find Joe with Peter. Simon was crying when he saw Joe survived, and he really want to help Joe. When we think about Simon's position, it must be really hard to believe that Joe survived, but maybe Simon believed that Joe survived because he heard Joe's voice.
In conclusion, this movie wants to tell us a really important messege that is "never give up", sometimes we need to make hard decisions. If we plan to climb, I recomend you watch this movie first and plan very well before you started your challenge. Do not forget to check your equipment again. Moreover, it will be a good idea to go with your friends. They can help you, and you will be able to enjoy a better time.

PCC's ESL program

There are many different colleges that have ESL programs for foreign students. This system will help us to improve our English skills. We have good reasons why we choose PCC's ESL program.
First of all, PCC's ESL program contains a good system for people who are not native speakers. It devided by four parts wich are listening, speaking, reading and grammar, so students have many options to decide wich parts they need to focus on and improve. For example, we have our own weaknesses in grammar, so we just need to take this class. In addition, PCC's ESL program has the Learning Assistance Center (LAC). There are a lot of tutors that help us to fix our English problems, and they are able to give student's a hand to do their homework. Also, the LAC provides many different materials that are very helpful such as movies, books, and listening CDs. Last of all, PCC's ESL program gives us nice places to do our lab-work such as the reading center and the computer center. We can do a lot of exercises and search for information there to improve our English skills. For instance, there are many different levels of RFU at the reading center, so you can practice by which level you are.
In conclusion, there are three reasons why we choose PCC's ESL program. Come to try it. We have gotten high scores and good system that we have experienced with this ESL program. We think this will help you a lot.

 1. Also, PCC's ESL program contains pronunciation class for native speaker.

  2.  At the LAC provides us very usefull reading materials and places to watch the theater.

My Learning Styles

There are a few ways I prefer for learning. There are many students who still do not know their own learning style or their multiple intelligence. It is really important to recognize these first. It will be very helpful to you when you study.
First of all, I am a visual learner. I enjoy studying by watching or viewing because it helps me to remember more easily than listening, so I always try to draw or make some flashcards if I do not understand some kind of difficult words. Also, visual learning style helps me to refresh my mind and release stress sometimes by viewing some scenes or nature enviroments. In addition, I have Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence. I am an active person, so I do not like it study at the library too much because there I need to sit and just concentrate on my work. I prefer to go outside, learn by experience, and put in action what I learn. Finally, I have a interpersonal intelligence. I usually enjoy meeting poeple and chattering with them a lot. I like to communicate with different kinds of people, listen to their experiences or share mine, have time to know each other and exchange some tips that we learned in our life.
In conclusion, I recommend you to figure out your learning styles by taking a really short test online, it will really help you as it helped me. I affirm that it will change your studying pattern and your score.

For example, summarize and check the important points that you wrote during the class. Also, reviewing your notebook can help you to remember what your organized before, such as key points or important things that your professor taught you. In addition, you should learn English by reading and listening some interesting things which you like that have some relation to English. English

My first experience learning English was exciting. Many people want to learn new language, but at the same time a lot of them have a kind of pressure. Most of the people that I know learned a new language because they parents want it, but I began to learn English because I want it and I like it for three reasons. First of all, I always tried to enjoy what I am doing. For example, while I was studying English it was very boring or tired, so I started to find a letters of the English music or movie and practice listening. Sometimes I studied by myself by see a interesting magazine and readed it. Second, learn English was very exciting to me because it was totally different with my fist language. For example, the shapes of the words, alphabet, were very different and strange to me, and also the English grammar had reverse order compare to korean. Finally, the pronunciation was the most exciting part to me becuase it was totally different a sound how i wrote or sometimes there was exactly same words, but it has different meaning of the words. It was a litte confusing  to me first, but I really surprised that there was many kinds of words in the world. In conclusion, I thing the most important point that I really could enjoy and it was very exciting to me to learn English is becuase I like it first and I enjoy during I studied.

3 Questions

a) Why are you studying English? Explain with details.
I am studying English for two reasons. First, because I think English is one of the most popular language in the world. In many countries we can find very easly a lot of peoples that can speak English, and also it is require language in anywhere. Second, I like learn and study different language and culture because I love to travel and meet different kinds of people. I think is very awesome too that I can understand and speak different language without translater. In conclusion I am studying English because English is very popular and require language in the world and I think learn new language is very helpfull and fun thing to me.

b) Do you use English very much when you're not in this class? Explain what situations you need to use it in.
Honestly I do not use English very much, but I often try to use a lot English as many time that I can  if i have some situation that I need to speak in English. For example, in my Japanese class there are many people that can speak very well english, but I am very shy to talk with them because I am not very well in English as them. But sometime they asked me something or talked me, I usually answered them in very short words. I know if I really want to improve English I need to practice, talk and listen a lot it, so in this semester I tried more to not be shy and answered  them by more long words and clearly. In another case, I try to spend more time with my friends that can not speak my language, korean or spanish, because when I stay with them I can practice speaking and listening in English. Sometimes they taught me how to pronunciated some difficult words and it was really helpfull to me. Also I try to make a situation to speak in English such as
talk with my professor, repeat some hard words and read with the low voice a book.

c) How do you feel when you use English? Are you sometimes nervous, comfortable, or...? Explain.
I usually feel very shy when I speak in English. The reasons why I feel like that I think is because my vocabularies are  very poor yet and also the vocabularies that I know are very limitted when I speak with someone.  The another reason that I think is because while I am speaking in English, I often need to organize first in my mind; structure; and I need some time to translate some vocabularies. I think that I need more practice to thinking in English first and try to do not think in my language. Also when I speak in English I worry first for my pronunciation, so I feel very uncomfortable many times.
